Still thinks it's an awesome piece of software, it's just not for me.Some time ago, I posted a blog post about RAW conversion and digital images.

The results were equally good but the time, effort and the fact that I can concentrate on the looks of the image and not the program caused me to buy the software and drop DT. But while I was using them (I use Linux as my primary OS so those were my first choices when I started with photography) I discovered that it required more of my time and effort to get the look that I wanted than with commercial software. Those are really great programs capable of awesome things. If you want to use DT or RT sure, go for it. I for one really like what DxO is making (yes, I have bought the ELITE version which have all their best and greatest features also because I believe that developers deserve money for their work).
